Bulihan National High School’s Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (BERT) once again proudly represented the Education Sector in the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction 2024 "Surge to 2030" last October 2024. Candice Danelle P. Espela, Qwncy Winona C. Bernardo and Ronalyn E. Sapitan presented a glimpse of how learners can be champions in disaster management and climate change adaptation.
Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (BERT) of Bulihan National High School (BNHS), helped out in cleaning up the school after the typhoon Carina caused flooding in the school facilities. BERT came ready in action to help the teachers, volunteers and school utilities in preparation for the opening of the School Year 2024 - 2025, which will be on August 5, 2024.
Bulihan National High School’s Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (BERT) once again proudly showcased their knowledge regarding DRRM, this was after the school was invited to the recently concluded NCYC on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR). It was held from the 16th to the 18th of July, 2024 at Dusit Thani Manila in the city of Makati.
Bulihan National High School’s BERT officers and members led the Batang Empowered and Resilient Team Training Camp for selected students from all public high schools in the SDO City of Malolos. This is after they have been invited by the DRRM Division Coordinator, Mrs. Mary Grace June San Pedro, and Save the Children Philippines in the representation of Ms. Razelle Garcia and other SCP stakeholders. The said event was held on April 17-18, in the year of our Lord 2024, at DJ Paradise Resort and Hotel.
