BioCost Research Group

We are a research group from the University of A Coruña interested in preserving biodiversity (mainly coastal) by understanding its threats (climate change, biological invasions, pollution, habitat perturbation, overexploitation) so we can propose innovative solutions. With a high degree of internationalization, our studies combine classical approaches with more modern techniques (e.g., omics, biomarkers, development of new productive sectors).
