The Bike to the Future project has left an impact on our students' academic excellence, internship and employment opportunities, and beyond. This is a page for BTTF alumni to share how the program has led to increased depth of thought and success in university and beyond.

"BTTF was an amazing experience and I hope that it continues to grow! It was challenging, but working on this project helped me to grow as a researcher and as a person. I saw new cities, learned to think critically in an unfamiliar field, and became a much better public speaker. It also gave me the chance to make some great friends that I wouldn’t have otherwise.
In my college career, it has definitely helped me to be very comfortable giving presentations and networking in new environments. At USC I am a biochemistry major, but pursuing research in a different field actually helped me understand other parts of the process and the importance of public input in all research. I’m now in the process of finalizing my senior thesis research, and the skills I learned in BTTF have been a great tool!"

"BTTF was an amazing eye opener for me. I’d never considered city planning/infrastructure and I was really interested in learning about it. I’ll always look back on my time in BTTF with a smile. After all, who can’t laugh at De Ridder’s antics."
