The majority knew about Bharatnatyam's significance as a means to express oneself. At a glance, this may not seem to be something of much importance however if you will look at this from a broader perspective, this is a positive indicator of people's understanding of Bharatnatyam. As more than two third people understand the meaning behind Bharatanatyam they can also well understand how no one should be restricted from expressing themselves (In the context of how many people with disabilities are not given adequate support and encouragement when it comes to learning dance). Approximately one-fourth of people believe that it is not a means of expression of oneself. This may be a result of how Bharatnatyam is often taught about and the lack of recognition received by disabled artists on the big stages.
Our website, social media promotion page, and Nukkad natak are primarily revolved around this central idea. We hope this can help the message reach more people
Chart number - Q2/chart2 [Made by cyber fair team]
The result of this question is quite similar to the one observed in question 1. More than two third people have done Bharatnatyam and are aware of its mudras. It is nice to see this huge participation of people with Bharatnatyam. After all, it is a dance form that has persisted in India for about 2000 years. 29.6% of the respondents have never done Bharatnatyam or learned its mudras. Bharatnatyam can be reached by all if steps for inclusion and easy access are taken.
For the people who may want to learn the dance form, We have added a Bharatnatyam foundation guide in the bibliography page to help people learn Bharatnatyam from even remote and inaccessible places.

Bharatnatyam mudras have their meaning like Patakka means flag, Tripatakka means three colors, MAYURAKHYO means a peacock, and many more. The same trend is followed in the answers by the respondents to this question as well. The trend is that around a little more than two-thirds of people are aware of Bhartanatyam's essence, mudras, and their meanings. Around 1 out of every 9 respondents was unsure about their answer and hence chose maybe. Slightly less than one-fifth were not aware of how Bharatnatyam is a nonverbal way to communicate. This may be because of the lack of resources available when it comes to understanding Bharatnatyam from a much broader vision.
Our social media page and Domain pages list various mudras and their meanings so that people can learn about them effortlessly while scrolling through our project

This question is essential when it comes to analyzing whether the public is aware of how Bharatanatyam can be a way to connect with our tradition, culture, and ourselves. This way of looking at Bharatnatyam is not new as since it's beginning in present-day Tanjore Temples which are the sites of cultural meets have been adored by various Bharatnatyam performances .77.8% or more than three fourth of the respondents are aware of Bhartnatyam's integration with Indian culture. An interesting and intriguing find is that the same number of people who were not aware of Bharatnatyam's mudras (18.5% as seen in the question above) are also not aware of its connection with tradition, heritage, and culture.
You can also view it on the Indian culture page.

The answers received by the respondents to this question are quite concerning. If we view questionnaire 3, you can see a majority percentage knew about some popular Bharatnatyam dancers however as seen from this question, approximately three fourth of the people are not aware of Disabled Bharatanatyam artists. this just shows the lack of recognition they receive in terms of making their name on the national and eventually global stage. This also indicates the lack of inclusion in the classical dance sphere. Approx. one-fourth of respondents knew about disabled Bharatnatyam artists. This number is small when we see the enormous talent displayed by the artists.
The inspirations page lists some influential disabled Bharatnatyam artists

Apart from minor fluctuations, the results of whether people know about any Bharatanatyam organization/Ngo is the same (around 50%). Looking at the results with a closer inspection we can see 51.9% of the respondents know about Bharatnatyam organizations/NGOs. The level of awareness about these can be increased by promotions that can be seen on the community connect page , for example, the promotions subpage shows how we promoted Bhartnatyanm through social media.

This is a positive response as we see the majority of the respondents acknowledging the fact that art forms ( like Bharatnatyam )can help people fight against their disabilities. In questions 1 and 2 we can observe how Bharatnatyam is a means to express oneself. Often disabilities may restrict a person from expressing oneself, but nonconventional ways like communicating and expressing through dance forms can be used in such cases. During our visit to the NGO Prabhat awakening, we understood the importance of art forms much more deeply.
