FUTURISTIC APPROACH

For many people financial independence appears hard to achieve but for differently abled it might seem like an unattainable goal. A regular 9-5 job which is a real aspiration for many, due to disabilities, a specific group finds holding down a 9-5 job difficult. People like.Mariyappan Thangavelu earned gold medal at the Paralympics 2016 which was held at Rio and Sudha Chandran became a renowned artist. It was because they did not consider their disability to be a hindrance. Their will power helped them to rise above all barriers.

According to the United Nations Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities the focus on disabilities has been shifted from the individual model  to society model, i.e., from a medical model of disability to a social or human rights model of disability.

 According to the Social Model of Disability, the physical disability of an individual is   not  seen as the actual hindrance, but  the barrier that lies in the interaction between the disabled  individuals and society is.
