Are you aware of any of the below-mentioned steps/acts/trusts/policies taken by the government
The department of empowerment of rights of persons with disabilities administers the following rights -
The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, 2.The National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation,d Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999,3. Rehabilitation Council of India Act, 1992 (as per their official website). To administer these ,various steps have been taken in the form of policies, schemes, acts, trust funds, etc. It is important to know about these so that we can also spread awareness about these government support policies to those in need to avail these. From the given data we can see that the National trust for the welfare of persons with autism, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, and mental disabilities, the Accessible India campaign, and the Scheme for the implementation of the rights of people with disabilities are the most well known. (25% or one-fourth of the respondents )
In order to raise awareness , We promoted the beautiful message, which lies at the heart of the project (i.e learning art forms knows no boundaries) through social media and nukkad natak(an Indian form of street play)

To help and support people with disabilities, it is equally important to be able to identify these disabilities. From the given data we can see that approx. one-sixth of the people were not aware of any of the listed disabilities. Visual/hearing/speech impairment is known mostly among the public (29.4%).
It is important to raise awareness about how disabilities can be of many types and come in many forms and everyone shall be provided with the required help, support (emotional and physical), and opportunities they need.
In our Bibliography page, we have added additional links to read which can help people be more aware of different types of disabilities. Our nukkad natak performance also takes into account different types of disabilities and conveys the information through an engaging medium. You can find our Nukkad natak on the Promotions page.

Vocational training helps build sustainable employment opportunities. Learning art forms like hand embroidery, painting, music, instruments and even dance forms like Bharatnatyam comes under such vocational training programmes. Vocational training plays an important role in the social and economic development of any country, and these programmes should also be accessible to people with disabilities to maximize inclusion in these employment opportunity-providing programmes. A little more than one-third of the people knew about one to five vocational training programmes. It is concerning as well as alarming to see how almost thirty per cent of the respondents were not aware of any of the programmes.
We provided an opportunity for children with disabilities to learn Bharatnatyam both in our school as well as during our site visit. This was a vocational training workshop for the children, we also received a positive review about their learning experience. You can find these on the dance therapy page.

Since the concept of teaching Bharatanatyam to people with disabilities can be considered to be relatively new, some challenges are bound to come one's way. It can be seen that as per the respondents, the major challenge or obstacle one may face while achieving the goal is communication(29.4% ). Patience required in teaching and learning ranks second in terms of the major challenge according to the public. A little more than one-sixth of the responses are 'None of the following'. It is surprising to see how Financial difficulties are the least chosen even when it is a real-time problem faced by many around the country.
We took into account people’s views on the difficulties and tried to overcome them while conducting Bharatnatyam learning sessions?[Learning sessions available on Dance therapy page]

Accessibility is the most important when it comes to working for any cause. This question's analysis can provide a very useful insight into what the general public thinks is the best way to reach them and everyone around them. Improved inclusion in academies is the most chosen with just a little less than one-third of the respondents opting for this choice. Promotion events were also opted for by a large number of people i.e. 23.5%. Taking this into account we as a team did our part in promoting the cause by using social media ( as seen on the promotions page) and by nukkad natak(which can be viewed on the Community connect page)
To provide more inclusion to everyone , we conducted learning sessions. Along with this we also did promotions through social media and street play.
