Pachelbel Canon

This is an arrangement of part of a much longer piece. It is based on a 2 bar ground bass. Click on the cello to listen to this on its own. In the full length piece this ground bass is played over 30 times!!!!

Listen to the violin parts, they get more and more complicated as the piece goes on. Perhaps one day you will play this whole piece, its always fun to do.

Meanwhile, watch the short video clips which show you what to do, and have fun with it.

• You can take 2 bars 1-2, 3-4, etc and play them all the way through. Its a 2 bar canon so they always fit if you start with an odd numbered bar.
