This is a lovely English folk song. There are 3 violin parts, so you can try any of them. There is a backing track made on a computer so it doesn’t sound great, but you could play-along and pretend you are in a string orchestra!
If you are playing the top line watch out for G natural …. 2nd finger back next to 1st .
2nd violin part, watch out for the C natural and then C#.. make sure your 2nd finger is close to 1st for C natural, and then back in its usual place for C#
If you want help with any part, you can listen to that part on its own as many times as you like and follow the music until you can work out what to play. I got someone else to play the violin lines as I can’t play that well!!!
Don’t worry if you can’t play the whole piece. Enjoy playing what you can and enjoy this beautiful song!
