KUHS QAS A+ Accredited Since 17.01.2024
The domain leader has several responsibilities related to the domain as described in the QAS standards. These include:
- To be familiar with all the requirements of the domain, in detail against the QAS standard, considering the principle and practice of accreditation process.
- Maintaining all the records and evidences pertaining to the domain in a systematic and secure way.
- Overseeing the activities of the domain and ensuring they are aligned with the QAS* standards and objectives.
- Representing the domain in meetings with other domains, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Prepare the training materials and training the stakeholders on domain-related activities and providing them with feedback and guidance.
- Updating the requirements for the domain as per the changes in the QAS standards or the domain context.
- Conducting and documenting regular meetings with the domain team and other relevant parties.
- To be familiar with the Audit principles**, Auditing the activities of the domain as per the QAS standards and identifying areas of improvement or non-compliance.
- Improving the activities of the domain based on the audit findings and best practices.
- Bringing the domain scoring to 100% by meeting all the QAS standards and criteria.
- Adding innovation and evidence-based practices to the domain activities where applicable, in consultation with the stakeholders.
- Discussing the matters of concern with the stakeholders and resolving them in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintaining confidentiality, ethics, and professionalism in all the domain activities and communications.
- Escalating any issues or challenges to the Principal / Management council / Nodal Officer in a time-bound manner, as the domain leader has no direct authority over other domains or stakeholders.
- Communicating between the domains and with the nodal officer on the current status of activities of the domain.
- To be available and face the audit as an Auditee for the domains for external audits.
- Handing over the documents, records and all the activities to the successor and acting as a mentor to them.
