Test on Friday over chapter 1. There will be 60 questions. You will have the entire class to finish. This is just like the pretest. I will assing study guides to help you. The study guide will be via the AP classroom. Please check the email you signed up with for notification. You could also sign in to the AP classroom and see. I do not know what you see. Please let me know if there is nothing. The questions will be timed for one minute and will let you know results immediately. The Free Response Questions (FRQs) will be for 15 minutes. This is the maximum you should spend on each of these questions. There are 21 mulitple choice questions and 1 FRQ, I believe. I am actually still trying to learn it. I do not know if you can take multiple times...so we will find out. All the KIs are due this Friday. Turn in as one packet.
Monday: Map test for periods 3 and 4. Lecture on scale
- Monday HW: Read pages 30-33 in textbook, do associated reading guide sections, also read appendix A-1-A-2 (Map Scale). Review KI 1.1 in notes and reading guides for test.
Tuesday:Lecture on space
- Tuesday HW:Read Pages 34-37 and complete associated reading guide. Reveiw KI 1.2 from notes and guided readings. Go over KI 1.2 as review for test.
Wednesday:Diffusion
- Wednesday HW:Read pages A-3-A-7. Review KI 1.3 for test and work on AP mulitple choice material.
Thursday:Diffusion
- Thursday HW:Review KI 1.4 guided readings and Study for Chapter 1 test. Do the AP Classroom FRQ.
Friday:KIs due! Multiple choice Test over Chapter 1 and Appendix readings.
- Friday HW:Brain break. Relax over the weekend and be prepared to start on chapter 2.
Just a head's up, I will assign your 1st nine weeks project at the beginning of next week. More details will be posted next week.
