December 9-13, 2019

This is the last week of teaching for 2019! How does that feel to know that we are now over half way done! So I still need to get you guys a "project grade." So I was thinking one of two things, I will create a voting platform for you to vote on which you prefer. As well as due date. Voting ends Monday at midnite. But if we have a critical mass (at least 40 votes in one direction it will end sooner, please vote only once.)

1st potential project. You will make a NATIONAL food dish or some kind of dish related to the country that you selected at the beginning of the year. For example, if you did Argentina, I just did a quick search and the national dish is Asada. You would then make the dish for at least everyone in the class to "try" a bite. I can bring in tables if I need to, I have a couple of six footers. I am NOT talking about having a feast or a party, just a quick sampling of the food of your country. You would also need to print off, draw, recreate the flag and write the name of the country on a trifolded peice of paper so we would know. We would also need to have the list of ingredients so that people who may have alergies to certain foods can be aware. Sowe would need a reciepe as well. We can choose to make enough for all 3 AP classes or just your particular class.

2nd potential project. You will research a popular product. You will trace its origination, diffusion, and distribution. Write a brief paper, no more than 2-5 pages on it.
