Hope you had a long and productive weekend. This week is the last week before the Thanksgiving break. I am trying to work with someone to bring in a Congolese migrant to speak to you on Wednesday. It will only occur from 9-1030 or 3rd and 4th periods. I am going to propose a deal with 6th and 4th period teachers to allow you to come to my class for 3rd and 4th. They then, in turn, can take you out of my class if they want to. I have also assigned the Ap Classroom for Unit 2. This needs to be completed by the end of Thanksgiving sometime. Also, the Congolese woman is coming on Wednesday. Please take a moment and write a thank you note to her. This is not required, but would be a nice way to say thank you.

Monday:US Historical migration.

• Monday HW: Think up a series of questions that are informed, respectable, and relevant to this woman's life. I do not want immature or silly questions. I am going to create an editable spreadsheet that you will be able to add questions to. Please look over the questions and add your name. I will then forward this to the Congolese representative to review and approve. If I log on or even find out that someone is disrepecting this chance and or my form, I wll take it personally and will contact your parents. In addition, read over the Immigration to the US timeline.

Tuesday: Probably will not see 3rd or 4th periods, but will see 6th. 9th graders are testing PSAT. Upper classpersons please report to auditorium. Also feel free to propose that you make up their 4th or 6th period class that day as wel..
