October 7-11, 2019

Hope you have had a good weekend. This is a short and busy week. You have a project due by Thursday at the beginning of your period. Friday is a half day that I may or may not see you! Plus this is the end of the nine weeks, then we get a week off. For the project, we will post them in the hallways on the first floor and in the stairwell. The purpose is to show non-AP human geography students that geography is actually interesting if it is framed correct. After we hang it up, we will do a gallery walk and you will evaluate these projects based on the criteria given. I will do my best to have it set up nicely for you so all you have to do is check off easy yes or nos. Just look at the grading rubric and you should be able to ID the elements that you will look for. Remember if you are looking for good templates (power point has one already), but a good way to present information is through a infographic. You do not have to create and infographic. You can present the information in any way that you like, but I still want it to look good, which is why I would select the infographic you like and prefer and then just follow the template with your own information. Here are the directions for creating visual data poster. Here is a good video on explaining a good expectation on visual information. I like how they call it a visual story.
