Shereen Ashman
Shereen Ashman is a multi-awarded community builder, educator and social entrepreneur. Surviving gun violence sparked her purpose in social innovation, responsive education and cultural programming.
Her work is focused on cultural equity in learning, leadership and lifestyle. She serves as the Founding Cultural Director at Saccae Studio activating culture for joy and justice. In her role at Small world Music, Previously she served as the Co-Founding Director of CEE Centre Charity.
Shereen collaborates with nonprofits, corporate and public institutions to delivers trainings and speeches on related topics. She has addressed multi-stakeholders at Cityline, Globe and Mail, United Way, York University and Centennial College. Her work has been featured in the CBC, BBC, Toronto Star, Oprah's Lifeclass, among other publications.
