Devonnia Miller

Devonnia Miller boasts over 15 years of service at the University of Toronto, excelling across various domains such as residence services, student life, academic and events coordination, and executive assistance. Her roles have enabled her to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive campus environment, engaging with students, faculty, and staff. As a proud alumna, Devonnia holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science, currently pursuing a Master of Education in Social Justice Education at OISE. Her research at OISE focuses on Black Women Leaders in Higher Education, examining their experiences and addressing their underrepresentation in senior leadership roles. Devonnia actively contributes to community building, notably assisting with the Black African Feminisms Conference. With a passion for education and social justice, she advocates for positive change within and beyond academia, committed to uplifting marginalized voices and advancing equity and inclusivity in higher education.
