Haumea

Haumea is a fascinating dwarf planet located in the Kuiper Belt beyond Neptune. It's known for its unique shape and fast rotation.

• Elongated Shape: Haumea is shaped like an elongated ellipsoid, resembling a rugby ball. This unusual shape is believed to be a result of a collision with another celestial body in the past.

• Fast Rotation: Haumea is one of the fastest-rotating large objects in the solar system. It completes a full rotation in just under four hours.  

• Ring System: Haumea has a ring system, making it the smallest known object in the solar system to have rings.

• Moons: Haumea has two known moons, Hi'iaka and Namaka.
