Checking Oil
If the oil is registering anywhere on the hash marks on the dip stick no need to add oil, per Amerit.
Overfilling the trucks can cause the truck to be out of service until oil is drained and removed from the crank case breather system.
If you are ever missing a document from the truck binder, you can go into the office to the truck file folders and get any documents you need. They are organized by Truck Unit ID number. It is located right near the light switch in the office by the door that leads out to the mechanic bay.
Please make sure you are checking to see if you have everything you need before you start your tour. Below are the contents of the seat organizers, triangles and fire extinguisher. All of these items should remain in the truck.
The next set of pictures are, an example of the Binder you should be checking at the beginning of every shift and an example of the Cab card and Insurance card. I have circled the expiration dates to show the correct date to be looking at. IF you think your truck has an expired document please do not throw it away. Please send a picture to the admin line and then go into the office and get a copy what you need.
