Contact the Police to get emergency services on site.
Asses the damage and call it into Dispatch. They will worry about your trip. Send them pictures of the accident along with any information you gather from the parties involved and/or police.
Dispatch will set up a tow and ride back to the carrier yard. Your contact information will be given to the tow company. If you are on the highway you must ride with the tow driver either back to the yard or off the highway to Lyft can have an exact address to find you.
Admin will follow up with questions if needed.
If the accident results in one or more parties being taken to the Hospital, a drug test will be required when you turn to the yard.
If a vehicle is stopped on a highway or shoulder for a reason other than a necessary traffic stop, the driver must turn on the vehicle’s hazard warning system, which is to be left on until the vehicle’s external warning devices are in position. The hazard warning system must again be utilized when the warning devices are being picked up before the vehicle moves on.
Warning devices (warning triangles, fusee flares, or liquid-burning flares) must be placed within 10 minutes in three locations:
One on the traffic side, four paces (approximately 10 feet) from the vehicle, in the direction of approaching traffic;
One in the center of the traffic lane or shoulder, 40 paces (approximately 100 feet) from the vehicle, in the direction of approaching traffic; and
One in the center of the traffic lane or shoulder, 40 paces (approximately 100 feet) from the vehicle, in the direction away from approaching traffic.
If flares are used, the driver is responsible for ensuring that at least one flare remains lit at each location as long as the vehicle is stopped.

In the event of an accident, follow these steps to ensure everyone's safety and proper documentation:
Ensure Safety First:
If possible, move the vehicle to a safe area.
Put out the safety cones to alert other drivers and prevent further incidents.
Turn on hazard lights and check for injuries.
Use the Accident Kit:
Every truck is equipped with an Accident Kit that includes step-by-step instructions, safety equipment, and forms to help guide you through the process.
Follow the instructions in the kit carefully.
Contact Authorities:
Call the Police immediately, regardless of the severity of the accident.
Stay on the scene until the police arrive and provide an official report.
Exchange Information:
Exchange insurance information with the other party involved. This is mandatory.
Collect the following from the other driver(s):
Name and contact information
Insurance company and policy number
Driver’s license and license plate number
Vehicle make, model, and color
Document the Scene:
Use your phone to take photos of the damage, the accident scene, and any relevant traffic signs or conditions.
Report to Dispatch:
Once the situation is under control, immediately inform dispatch and provide all necessary details- Sling them ALL pictures of the scene and insurance information.
