This painting is self explanatory. Without pollinators there will be no natural world and without the natural world there will be no pollinators. Without either of these there will be no us.

I met Ellie the European Eagle Owl at the Owl Sanctuary in Ebbw Vale.
She’s very tame and meets all the visitors in the small visitor/reception Centre. She’s well cared for and was a discarded pet but I couldn’t help feeling sad when I saw her chains. After all, why have wings if you aren’t allowed to fly.
About me.
I've painted all my life and went to Cardiff Art College after leaving school.
I've worked from my Studio in South Wales for 30 years and have taught, illustrated books and exhibited widely throughout this time. My most recent exhibition was a solo show at Slimbridge Wetlands Centre in Gloucester this year with over 70 paintings.
My first love is water-colour, although I like to experiment with other media. I'm inspired by the natural world, people, and life experiences.
Art has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember and I can’t imagine my world without it.
I try to pass on my feelings to others through my paintings, and am excited and pleased when I've inspired someone to respond with emotions of their own. The ultimate compliment is to move someone enough to want to live with one of my paintings on their wall.
