3-point perspective action

I created this lesson for students at Brambleton Middle School. I demonstrated how to draw 2 and 3-point perspective, then allowed students to choose which to use in their projects. 8th Graders had time in the art room to develop characters and explore figure drawing with foreshortening.

Cubism Unit

I created this Google classroom and modified the lessons for students at Eagle Ridge Middle School. Use the access code: pqeylox. I provided background information, shared lesson instructions and rubric, demonstrated how to blend colored pencils and add value with watercolor washes, then allowed students to choose which medium(s) to use in their projects. 8th Graders had several weeks in the art room to develop their plans, practice techniques, review with a post-assessment and present artist statements with their matted art.
