Luz I. Loría, known artistically as Lila, is an artist from Panama. Her work focuses on dreamlike acrylic landscapes emerged from deep reflections on dreams and the cosmos, while her primate-based illustrations are inspired by 12 years of research, conservation work and fascination with the behaviors of the Panamanian white-faced capuchin (Cebus imitator).
In the future, this work may serve as an educational tool in conservation programs, helping communities and students better understand and appreciate the Panamanian white-faced capuchin (Cebus imitator). By combining scientific accuracy with artistic expression, the work has the potential to foster empathy for primate conservation.
