GB FINDER

If you want to find specific buildings within the guild (we have at least one of everything somewhere in the guild!) there is a website with a GB finder you can use:

This allows you to search by server (en) world (en3) Guild name (Arrowheads) and pick a Great Building you need blueprints for to search who is near leveling.

You should install the FoE helper extension. It works in chrome or opera Gx, I have it running successfully in both browsers on windows 10 and chrome OS. To install in opera you first need the extension called "install chrome extensions" and then install the Foe helper from the chrome store. ***The game has to be running under HTML5 in either browser to work.

All guild leaders or BG leaders should have it or you're flying blind in BG and it has other useful tools also, 1.9x calculator, city overview and production summary, negotiation tool. It's like the missing half of the game (the details and analytics) that Inno didn't make.

Once you have it installed, open the BG guild and member activity screen, it basically takes a snapshot of the member activity list, and then the next time you open it highlights indicators on whose fight totals moved. I was able to find who is fighting on the wrong sector between 2 or 3 people. And no more yelling stop and not knowing who is plowing ahead. Also there's an info box (dove icon tool) you can filter to BG fights that will show you like a log what's happening while you sit on the map, that X guild is hitting Y sector at 20/130 instead of trying to spot movement on the map, you see hits similar to the GvG log.

Complaining amongst ourselves doesn't do anything - no one's listening to our guild conversations but us.  Contact support is for game bugs and rules violations; the only avenue to influence game features (or lack thereof) and direction of the game is really the feedback threads on the Innogames Forums bulletin boards. I hit my limit late August 2020 with the PvP Arena fiasco and message center changes dropped on us without warning, then the first couple of days of a new Battleground dealing with attitudes and siege camp greed, as always.  I know there are tough times in the world, that's not helping, but I just reached my 7 year anniversary in 2021 leading the guild, and the last 2 years was harder than the previous 5.

• I don't know anyone who doesn't think Battlegrounds are ruining the game (bad MMR, same guilds, it's a huge time sink, not enough time off between seasons, free attrition camp greed, the fighting is more about personal rewards than team strategy, building times on sectors are stupid... 6 hours for a building with 4 hour protection time, lol, I guess it's just lucky no one gives a damn to anything but siege camps anyway and those only take 2 hours.  It's a long list!)  It's burning out leaders too, and once the leaders are done, it will all stop. 

• They removed our guild forum in the game eventually, just with more notice and some improvements to the message center.  The message center will never replace our old forum, hence we have this shiny new website you're reading now.

• In 2021 we were treated to: 

  • • Guild sorting by ID in every GBG season for 3 months so that we were stuck in Groundhog Day with the same guilds.  This was eventually reverted after players forced the issue with feedback.

    • Recurring quest abort slowdown and eventually a 2,000 abort limit per day was implemented.  But not before lots of players farmed 2500 fights per day with macros on the loop quests in SAAB and Venus (on a Monday with no battlegrounds or GE - lol these players know who they are, most of the top 10 on our server have gotten there by doing this.)

    • a Heal All button that no one wanted, which caused people to spend diamonds unintentionally and slowed down fighting in the browser version.  This was eventually reverted 4 months later after players forced the issue with feedback.

    • a new Battleground waterfall map with half the drop rate of the previous map, so that new buildings will take the average player about 6 months to fully level.  Other drop rates and items were also changed, and coins and supplies were added to the mix of what you win after a fight.  It's a new coat of paint, and a slash to the rewards, but fails to address underlying issues with free attrition and guilds pinning and swapping (farming.)
