Introduction
Our group manipulated the genetic expression of three genes, two of which were upregulated in our gene list from last semester. We wanted to see if knocking down the expression levels of these genes would have any impact on the phenotype of locomotor deficits in ALS, potentially leading to the discovery of new mechanisms involved in locomotion.
