Privacy Policy for WorkStamp: Timestamp Camera
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to WorkStamp: Timestamp Camera (Korean listing: 워크스탬프: 날짜·작업 사진 기록; package: com.haeseong.workstamp), published on Google Play by dadamsoft. Privacy and support contact: hesung0805@gmail.com.
1. Photos and work records on your device
WorkStamp does not require an account and does not operate a first-party photo server. It uses the camera to capture work photos and stores photos, work names, memos, capture timestamps, optional stamped locations and addresses, settings, save-recovery records, advertisement-frequency counters, and rewarded-export credits on your device. dadamsoft does not upload your photos, work names, memos, precise coordinates, or addresses to a first-party server or attach them to analytics events.
Stamped photos and optional original copies are saved to Android's shared media storage. WorkStamp preserves an available source for an interrupted save until it can be recovered. Original copies can retain the metadata created by the camera. New stamped JPEGs do not copy location EXIF, but a location drawn visibly on a photo remains visible when you share it.
2. Optional location and address lookup
Location recording is off by default. If you enable it and grant permission, WorkStamp obtains foreground location only while the camera screen is active. Android can grant approximate or precise location. WorkStamp can still take and save photos when location is unavailable. It does not request background location.
If you separately enable address display, Android's system geocoding provider may receive coordinates to return an address. The provider can process requests externally under its own privacy practices. Location and address text selected at capture can become part of the saved photo, local records, backups, and user-selected sharing. WorkStamp does not send those coordinates to its usage analytics.
3. Sharing and ZIP backups
When you share a photo or output, Android grants the recipient app read access to the files you choose. That recipient may store, upload, or forward them under its own privacy policy. WorkStamp cannot control files already shared with another recipient.
Project ZIP backups contain work details, photo snapshots, stamped images, and original copies when available. They are not encrypted by WorkStamp. You choose the destination through Android's file picker; a cloud-storage provider may upload the backup. Backups do not include rewarded credits or generated comparison and summary outputs. Restoring a backup creates a new local work project.
4. Advertising and third-party data
WorkStamp uses Google's GMA Next-Gen Mobile Ads SDK for banner, app-open, interstitial, and user-selected rewarded advertisements. Google's SDK can automatically collect and share an IP address (which may estimate general location), app and advertisement interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID when available. Google processes this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Advertising-related data sent by this SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.
Google's data processing, retention, deletion, and advertising controls are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://myadcenter.google.com/. Android also provides controls to reset or delete the advertising ID.
Where required, WorkStamp uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request advertising privacy choices before eligible advertisement requests. When applicable, you can reopen those choices from Settings > Ad privacy choices. Availability of a privacy form depends on the region and configured Google consent messages. Refusing or withdrawing available consent does not remove already-earned summary credits or block the app's basic photo, work, comparison, sharing, and backup features.
5. Optional usage statistics and local diagnostics
Usage statistics are off by default. If you opt in, a configured Firebase Analytics integration can send allowlisted feature and ad-lifecycle events, app-instance or device-related identifiers, usage information, and ad-revenue information to Google. WorkStamp does not include photos, thumbnails, work or photo identifiers, names, memos, capture timestamps, file names or paths, coordinates, addresses, emails, phone numbers, or raw exception messages as app-defined analytics properties. You can turn usage statistics off in Settings. Google's Firebase processing follows Google's privacy policy; prior data retention and deletion are governed by the service's controls and applicable policies.
The separate local diagnostic option stores aggregate allowlisted error codes on this device. WorkStamp does not upload these local diagnostic records to dadamsoft. This local setting does not describe or disable the advertising SDK's own diagnostic processing.
Firebase Remote Config, when configured, retrieves switches for individual ad formats and may process installation-related and device information needed by the service. It does not receive your photos or work text. Remote Config availability does not guarantee immediate delivery when the device is offline.
6. Permissions
WorkStamp uses camera permission for capture, optional coarse and fine location permissions for foreground stamps, and internet and network-state access for advertisements, consent, optional configured statistics and remote settings, and system address lookup. Sharing and backups use Android's media APIs and file picker. WorkStamp does not request background location, microphone recording, broad access to all files, or login credentials.
7. Retention and deletion
Local work details, recovery records, settings, diagnostic counts, ad counters, and credits stay until you change them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall it. Deleting work details moves its photos to Quick record; it does not delete the photo files. You can explicitly delete a photo and its stored original copy from that photo's screen. Files deleted outside the app may be shown as missing.
Clearing app storage or uninstalling deletes the app's private database and settings, including unspent credits and unfinished private source files. Publicly saved photos, generated outputs, and ZIP backups may remain; remove them through your gallery, file manager, or chosen storage provider. Backups held by another provider and photos sent to recipients follow those parties' retention and deletion rules. Google controls retention and deletion of data processed by its services. There is no separate first-party account-deletion process because WorkStamp has no user accounts.
8. Sharing, sale, and security
dadamsoft does not sell your photos or local work records. Third-party advertising and optional service data are handled as described above. Android's platform protections restrict private app storage, while shared images and unencrypted ZIP backups can be accessible to the recipients and storage services you select. Google Mobile Ads data is encrypted in transit. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Intended audience and international processing
WorkStamp is intended for adult users recording field work and is not directed to children. dadamsoft does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a first-party account or photo server. Google and chosen sharing, geocoding, or backup providers may process information internationally under their own policies and safeguards.
10. Policy changes and contact
dadamsoft may update this policy as the app or its services change. The public policy page will show the revised date.
