1. On-device magnification and text recognition
ReadLens uses the camera to magnify small text and recognize Korean and English text on your device. Camera frames, recognized text and text-selection positions are processed locally and are not uploaded to dadamsoft or included in advertising requests. The reading feature sends recognized text to your device's Android Text-to-Speech engine. Voice availability and any network processing depend on the engine and voice you choose; installed offline voices are preferred where available.
2. Accessibility and screen capture
The optional screen magnifier uses Android AccessibilityService on supported Android versions to capture the screen only when you tap its floating magnifier button. On Android 8–10, it asks for Android's screen-capture permission instead. Captured screens are held in memory for magnification, are not automatically saved, and are not transmitted to the developer or advertising providers. The service does not read accessibility node text, type, click or make decisions on your behalf. Turn the feature off in the app or Android accessibility settings. Protected content may not be captured.
3. Local storage, sharing and external services
Onboarding, guide and display preferences are saved on the device. Shared JPEG images are temporarily cached in the app's private cache and passed through Android's sharing chooser only when you request sharing or image search. Cached shares older than 24 hours are removed on a later sharing operation; Android can also clear cache. Google Lens, the Google app, your selected sharing app and the TTS engine operate under their own privacy policies and may send the content you explicitly give them to their providers. Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes app-local preferences and cached files, but copies already shared outside ReadLens remain under the recipient's control. No account, subscription, developer-operated image server or cloud OCR is used.
4. Advertising
ReadLens displays Google AdMob banner ads on idle in-app screens. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from IP), device/account identifiers such as advertising ID and app-set ID where available, app/ad interactions, crash information and performance diagnostics for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Google controls its processing, international transfers, retention and deletion under https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not send camera frames, screenshots or recognized document text to Google Mobile Ads. This version does not include a separate Firebase Analytics SDK or developer-defined usage-statistics collection.
5. Choices and deletion
Where required, Google UMP requests advertising consent. Available choices can be reopened in Settings > 광고 개인정보 설정 (Ad privacy choices). Basic magnification and OCR remain available without ad inventory or advertising consent. Android settings let you reset/delete your advertising ID. Clear app storage or uninstall to remove local settings and caches. The developer cannot directly erase Google's advertising logs; use Google's privacy controls, including https://myadcenter.google.com/ and https://myactivity.google.com/. 6. Children, security and support
ReadLens is intended for ages 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's information through a first-party account or server. Android permissions, private app storage and scoped FileProvider grants protect app-local content; no system is perfectly secure. Support email is optional; your email provider processes messages and attachments you choose to send, and dadamsoft uses them to answer your request. Do not include unnecessary sensitive documents. We update this policy when the app's data practices change.

읽어주는 돋보기(ReadLens)는 카메라 영상과 한국어·영어 OCR, 사용자가 요청한 화면 확대를 기기 안에서 처리합니다. 카메라 영상·스크린샷·인식한 문서를 개발자나 광고 제공자에게 업로드하지 않습니다. 접근성 서비스는 사용자가 플로팅 버튼을 누를 때 화면을 캡처하여 확대할 때만 사용하며, 다른 앱의 글자 구조를 읽거나 대신 클릭·입력하지 않습니다. Android 8~10에서는 별도 화면 공유 허용을 요청합니다. Android TTS·Google Lens·선택한 공유 앱으로 직접 전달한 내용에는 해당 제공자의 방침이 적용됩니다.
설정은 기기에 저장합니다. 직접 공유한 사진은 앱 캐시에 임시 저장하며 24시간이 지난 공유 파일은 이후 공유 작업에서 정리합니다. 앱 저장 공간 삭제·제거로 로컬 설정과 캐시를 지울 수 있지만 외부로 공유한 사본은 삭제되지 않습니다.
Google AdMob 배너는 IP 기반 대략적 위치, 광고 ID·앱 세트 ID 등 가능한 식별자, 앱·광고 상호작용, 충돌·성능 정보를 광고·측정·분석·부정 사용 방지를 위해 처리·공유할 수 있습니다. 전송은 TLS로 암호화되며 보관·삭제·해외 처리에는 Google 방침이 적용됩니다. 필요한 지역에서 UMP 동의를 요청하고 제공되는 선택지는 설정의 광고 개인정보 설정에서 다시 열 수 있습니다. 별도 Firebase Analytics 또는 개발자 이용 통계 수집은 포함하지 않습니다. 광고가 없어도 기본 기능을 사용할 수 있습니다.
