1. Scope and on-device information
Noor Prayer provides prayer times, Qibla direction, reminders, a prayer tracker, a calendar, Quran reading and a tasbih counter. The app does not require an account and dadamsoft does not operate an app-content server. Selected city and coordinates, calculation preferences, prayer-completion records, bookmarks, counter values, language, reminder preferences and selected-audio references are stored on your device. Prayer records may reveal religious practice; they are not uploaded to dadamsoft or attached by the app to advertising requests.
2. Location, sensors and permissions
If you choose GPS, Android may provide precise or approximate location after your permission. The app uses it on device to suggest a city and calculate prayer times and Qibla. You can use offline city search or manual coordinates instead. Compass and orientation sensors provide an on-device direction display. Notification and exact-alarm access support reminders. Optional full-screen access supports prayer alarms. Audio is chosen with Android's file picker, which can retain access to the chosen file. The app does not upload that audio.
3. Advertising and consent
Noor Prayer uses Google Mobile Ads for native, banner, interstitial and app-open advertising, and Google's User Messaging Platform for applicable privacy choices. Google may automatically collect and share IP address and approximate location, app and advertising interactions, diagnostics including crash/performance information, and device or account identifiers such as Android advertising ID and app set ID where available. Purposes include advertising delivery and measurement, analytics, security and fraud prevention. SDK data is encrypted in transit. Google's own processing, sharing and retention rules apply. The app does not deliberately attach prayer records, Quran bookmarks, selected-audio contents, exact GPS coordinates or your Gemini key to ad requests.
Where required, the app requests advertising consent before requesting ads. Available privacy choices can be reopened in Settings > Ad privacy choices. Android also provides advertising-ID controls. Usage statistics are off by default. If you opt in, Google Analytics for Firebase receives fixed feature-use, screen-view and advertisement-lifecycle events, app-instance identifiers, app/device information and general location inferred by Google from network information. We do not add photos, task text, notification contents, file names or paths, coordinates, TV addresses, or text you enter to analytics events. Google processes this information for analytics; transmission is encrypted. Turn sharing off at any time in Settings > Usage statistics. Disabling sharing stops future collection; Google retains prior data under its retention and deletion controls. Optional Google Gemini and external maps
The Google Play release does not expose the AI city assistant and never requests a Gemini API key. In debug/test builds only, the optional AI city assistant sends the city text you enter, the selected model request and your own API key to Google's Gemini API only when you request that search. Google processes these under the terms for your Gemini account/API use. The key is encrypted locally using Android Keystore and is excluded from app JSON backups. You can delete it in the app. Do not enter sensitive personal information in the city-search field. Prayer times are calculated locally rather than generated by AI. Opening a map or searching nearby mosques passes the selected city coordinates or map query to the external map app/service. Its privacy policy applies. 5. Storage, security, exports and deletion
Local records remain until you edit/remove them or clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Automatic app cloud backup/device-transfer backup is disabled. JSON exports are made only when you choose to export; they may contain city coordinates, prayer records and preferences, but exclude your Gemini API key and audio-access permissions. Exported files remain in the selected storage provider until you delete them, including any copies you share or back up. Clearing app storage does not delete previously exported copies. Delete a saved API key using the app's Delete saved key control. No developer account exists to delete. Google retains advertising and optional API data according to its policies and your account controls. Reasonable platform security and HTTPS are used, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Support, children and international processing
If you email support, the information you choose to send and your email address are handled by email providers and used to respond. Avoid sending prayer records, credentials or other unnecessary sensitive content. You may request deletion of support messages by emailing hesung0805@gmail.com. Noor Prayer is not specifically designed for children under 13. dadamsoft does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a first-party app account or server. Google and external services may process information in other countries under their policies. Changes to app features or providers will be reflected in this policy.
