How AI Prompts Were Used to Improve Design Thinking
PROMPT DOCUMENTATION
The AI prompts were not used randomly. Each prompt was written with a clear design purpose related to the original Silent Transition Student Clubhouse project. The prompts focused on reviewing the existing design, identifying its strengths and limitations, improving environmental strategies, and strengthening the relationship between the concept and student experience.
The prompt process followed a structured method: first, the original project was reviewed; then, specific questions were written to guide AI responses toward site response, climate design, circulation, user comfort, and presentation clarity. After receiving AI outputs, the suggestions were compared, filtered, and selected based on what was realistic and suitable for the project.
This shows that AI was used as a reflection and decision-support tool, not as a replacement for architectural thinking. The final design direction remained guided by human judgment, project context, and the original design intention.
