This course helped me understand that AI is not only a tool for generating images or text, but also a way to improve learning, reflection, and decision-making. Through ARCH2360, I learned how AI can support architectural design through research, prompt writing, concept development, visual exploration, and project communication.
The most valuable lesson for me was that AI outputs should not be accepted blindly. They need to be reviewed, filtered, and improved using human judgment. In my Final Assessment, AI helped me reassess my Silent Transition Student Clubhouse project, but the final design decisions were still guided by my own architectural thinking.
I also learned that AI can make the design process more creative and organized, but responsibility, originality, and ethical awareness must remain with the designer. This course changed the way I see AI in architecture and helped me become more confident in using it as a support tool for future design work.
