ChatGPT was used as the second tool in the workflow to support concept development. After collecting research from Gemini, I used ChatGPT to translate the research ideas into a clear architectural concept for the student clubhouse.
The main concept developed through this stage is Silent Transition. This concept describes the movement from a noisy and active campus environment into a calmer interior space. The design focuses on gradual spatial movement, shaded circulation, soft daylight, arches, quiet surfaces, and student comfort.
ChatGPT helped organize the concept into clear architectural language. However, the output was not accepted directly. It was reviewed, edited, and refined to match my own design intention and project direction.
Purpose:
To generate and refine the architectural concept narrative for the Silent Transition Student Clubhouse.
Prompt 1:
“Generate a concept statement for a student clubhouse that creates a quiet transition from a noisy campus environment using arches, soft lighting, and gradual spatial movement.”
Prompt 2:
“Make the concept suitable for an architecture presentation board. Connect it to circulation, daylight, shaded spaces, and student activities.”
ChatGPT developed the concept of Silent Transition. The idea describes the clubhouse as a gradual journey from active campus life to calm interior spaces. It suggested that arches, shaded walkways, soft daylight, and quiet study zones can help create a peaceful atmosphere for students.
I used the AI concept text as a starting point. Then I edited and refined it to match my own project. I kept the ideas of transition, calmness, soft daylight, and spatial movement, but adjusted the wording to make it more specific to the student clubhouse.
ChatGPT helped with concept language, but I selected, edited, and refined the final idea. The architectural meaning and final decision remained my responsibility.
