Calamity Cayne was once a deckhand on a notorious pirate ship, but his true talent wasn't with a cutlass—it was with his innate magic, a power he channeled from the deepest parts of the sea. His crewmates often scoffed at his strange, fishy "magic," but his knack for solving problems and his preternatural luck in finding treasure (and trouble) earned him the nickname "Calamity." After a run-in with a kraken, he was gifted a magical fishing pole that allows him to channel his sorcery, fish his enemies inflicting hook damage,  grapple his foes from a distance, and even drag them. He's now on the hunt for the legendary sunken city of Atlantis, believing its secrets are the key to unlocking the true potential of his aquatic heritage.
