The Alexandria Historical Society has spent nearly a half century carrying out its mission  to promote an active interest in American history, particularly the history of Alexandria and the Washington metropolitan area. To do so AHS hosts lectures on local history related topics, publishes scholarly papers on related topics, and presents awards to students and local historians. For this work to continue we need both Members and donations that go beyond membership dues.  Please consider the Alexandria Historical Society in your charitable giving and join us as we begin to commemorate the last 50 years of Alexandria history and prepare for the next 50 years.

AHS is a 501 C3 non-profit organization. 
Your donations will be tax deductible and will be processed through the PayPal Giving Fund,
which generously does not charge us handling fees on your donations. All of what you give goes directly to support AHS.
