The Wizard of Oz follows Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, who is swept away by a powerful tornado and transported to the magical land of Oz. In her quest to return home, she befriends three unlikely companions: the Scarecrow, who lacks a brain; the Tin Man, who lacks a heart; and the Cowardly Lion, who lacks courage. Together, they journey down the Yellow Brick Road to meet the Wizard, believing he can grant their wishes. Along the way, they must outwit the Wicked Witch of the West, who is determined to stop them at any cost.
As they face numerous challenges, Dorothy and her friends learn that the qualities they seek—intelligence, love, and bravery—have been within them all along. In the end, Dorothy is granted her wish to return home, learning that there is truly "no place like home." The musical is filled with iconic songs like Somewhere Over the Rainbow and Follow the Yellow Brick Road, making it a timeless tale of friendship, self-discovery, and the importance of home.
