Spook House is a lively and comedic play about a group of ten kindhearted monsters who struggle to keep their home from being taken away by the determined tax assessor, Abraham Van Helsing VI. Though the monsters mean no harm, they are constantly misunderstood by the outside world. Their fate seems sealed until Vickie Stein, a descendant of the legendary Frankenstein, and her boyfriend, Roger, step in with a creative plan—throwing a ‘monster mash’ party to raise the money needed to pay the taxes.

As the party unfolds, chaos ensues with the arrival of unexpected guests, including a bumbling bank robber and his accomplice, as well as a pair of comically inept cops. Mistaken identities, hilarious disguises, and mixed-up bank bags create a whirlwind of laughter and surprises. Adding to the fun, some audience members might even find themselves involved in the action! Beneath its wacky humor, Spook House carries a heartwarming message about acceptance, proving that being different isn’t something to fear—it’s something to celebrate.
