The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood is a comedic twist on the classic legend, filled with witty dialogue, exaggerated characters, and plenty of laughs. In this satirical retelling, Robin Hood is still the dashing outlaw determined to steal from the rich and give to the poor, but he’s also a bit full of himself and constantly aware of his own legend. Alongside his Merry Men—including a very dedicated Town’s Gal who acts as the show's over-the-top narrator—Robin sets out to defeat the egotistical Prince John and his hapless sidekick, the Sheriff of Nottingham.

As Robin attempts to rescue the fair Lady Marian, who is less of a damsel in distress and more of an independent thinker, the story quickly spirals into a whirlwind of comedic misunderstandings, fourth-wall-breaking humor, and exaggerated heroics. Filled with Monty Python-style antics, ridiculous sword fights, and a cast of characters who can’t seem to take anything too seriously, The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood is a lighthearted and hilarious take on the timeless story of England’s favorite outlaw
