Oklahoma! is a classic American musical set in the early 1900s on the Western frontier, where farm girl Laurey Williams finds herself caught in a love triangle between the charming cowboy Curly McLain and the brooding, menacing farmhand Jud Fry. Curly tries to win Laurey’s heart, but his rivalry with Jud leads to tension and uncertainty about her future. Meanwhile, the spirited Ado Annie struggles to choose between two suitors—Will Parker, a simple yet devoted cowboy, and Ali Hakim, a flirtatious traveling salesman.

As the community prepares for a box social, emotions run high, culminating in a dramatic confrontation between Curly and Jud. Eventually, love triumphs, and Curly and Laurey marry, but their happiness is briefly threatened by Jud’s return. In the end, the town unites in celebration, looking forward to a bright future in the newly settled Oklahoma Territory. Production Info:

Our production of the musical "Oklahoma" by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein was one of the most successful shows the school has produced.

There were over 80 singers, dancers and cast members.

Heading the cast of characters was Robert Hunger who played Curly. Julie Kosakowwki and Karen Lloyd shared the female lead of Laurey. Other important parts were played by: Faith Nabb and Lisa Hoerner who shared the part of Aunt Eller; Kevin Kick as Jud Fry:

Kelly O'Connor as Ado Annie; Walter Neidrauer as Ali Hakim; Mark Scott as Andrew Carner and Philip Taylor as Will Parker. The choreographer was Susan O'Shaughnessy and the pianist was Laura Rogers.
