Glitch
This exhibit is a culmination of the skills that I have learned this semester. It uses a selection of layers, blending modes, and filters. This image can be used a creative piece, but als can be used for a magazine of poster.
Design Elements:
I chose to center my model in the center of the page. The off-setting of the main part of the face adds to the weight on the right side of the design, but the diagonal lines help distribute the weight back to the left and make the image feel balanced.
I chose to layer the components of the face the way I did so there are brief moments of connection, like in the hair, but the piece still has a glitchy feel.
The red and blue in the photo add new tones that make the black and white image more interesting.
