Lesson Plan #3-content/ self-directed learning
Note: The order of this lesson has been switched with that of the next lesson, to expose students to content before deciding on a final topic.

An important part of being a '21st century learner' is giving students agency in being self-directed learners.
Create Lesson Plan #2 for your unit plan, in which you will:
Provide content resources you will ask students to read or watch- provide titles and links.
This can also include basic skill training, such as modeling with cardboard and glue guns.
For younger children, this might include picture books:
Provide self-guided skill resources, such as Scratch tutorials, SketchUp tutorials, interviewing techniques, saving images and URLs, practice exercises
Guide students in doing their own research, along with formative assessment using embedded review questions or note-taking.
The goal of this lesson is both to teach content, technical skills, research skills, and self-directed learning agency.

Content instruction can be followed by a formative assessment/content review, such as end-of-chapter questions, Google Forms, Kahoot!, or EdPuzzle. Submit plan to Blackboard, and post this assignment and assigned resources to your Google Classroom.
Consider having students collaborate on note-taking.
You might consider have different teams watch different materials, then summarize to the class what they have learned.
Submit lesson plan on Google Classroom, save in your unit Google Drive folder, and post student-facing assignment with content links on Google Classroom.
