New Online Training Opportunities

As we have done for the past two years, we are providing access to quality online training opportunities while we are limited by winter weather for outside drills.  Classes from both the UL FSRI Fire Safety Academy as well as the Fire Rescue 1 Academy (Lexipol) platforms will available and listed below.

To receive credit, courses must be completed by May 31, 2023 and .pdf certificates of completion emailed to the training officer or chief.

The Fire Safety Academy is designed to allow Training Officers and other departmental officials to access and download member transcripts and gather training data. By self-identifying as a member of the Adams Fire Department, you allow use to track your training and participation.

While you certainly may any class on the UL platform, credit will only be given for successful completion of the 10 classes listed below. Be sure to sign in and identify as a member of the Adams Fire Department.

FireRescue1 Academy offers a robust training library of online fire courses that are developed using industry-based standards. Courses use the latest evidence-based practices and follow current guidelines set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  If you do not have a login, see the chief for information.
