"Electrochemical Olefin Activation by Molecular Catalysts"
Professor Kyoungsuk Jin is an associate professor in the department of chemistry at Korea University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Material Science from Seoul National University. During his postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), he studied the electrochemical oxygen functionalization reactions. He joined the department of chemistry at Korea University to begin his independent career in 2020. His research focuses on the fundamental understanding of electrochemical reaction and organic electrosynthesis including various oxygen-atom functionalization catalysis, asymmetric synthesis, biochemical reactions.
