For graduating 555 Student Teachers
Please complete these end of the semester requirements.
An Individual Development Plan (IDP) in California is a personalized plan designed to guide the professional growth of teachers, administrators, or other educators. It is often used as a transition tool for new teachers as they move from teacher preparation programs to their professional careers. All CSUN credential candidates are required to submit an IDP before graduating. You will need to enter a goal for the coming year for each of the six teacher performance expectations (TPE). Please use this template.
You do not need to secure my signature, and you can simply type your name where the form requires your signature. Please name your IDP as a pdf in this way: [CSUN ID#] [Candidate Last Name, First Name] Fall 202X IDP. For example, “100200300 Newton, Isaac Fall 2025 IDP” and submit here when done.
I have provided a list of ideas for each TPE below. If you choose to use any of these, please make sure it is in your own words.
