Cookie Booth Celebration at DEFY Savannah - March 23rd
After a busy cookie season, it was time to let loose and DEFY the limits! Girls who worked 3 or more cookie booths during the 2024 Cookie Season were treated to an epic time at DEFY Trampoline Park in Savannah.
Science of Happiness (Cadettes) and Snacks (Brownies) - March 16th
The Cadette girls began working on their Science of Happiness badge today...
...while the Brownies enjoyed earning their Snacks badge.
We had three special visitors at the meeting today! Did you spot them? The special visitors joined both groups for part of their time at the meeting. At the end, everyone enjoyed chocolate chip cookies and joined in on the Friendship Circle!
Celebration Social - February 24th
TO A SEASON WELL DONE!
To celebrate the end of cookie season, the girls enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Jalapeno's! No meeting, no selling, no planning...just plain good food and conversations!
One girl wanted this bird to go home with her. It appears the bird was waiting for her under her car, but alas, Mom said, "No!"
Cookie Booths 2024
It's cookie season and this season flew by! The girls worked hard and were sold out after the first weekend! Six girls earned a special trip for working three or more booths! Way to go girls!
Fall Product Incentives Arrive
Fall Product incentives are in! Juliette, JJ, and Daisy helped sort the prizes. They are visiting Savannah from Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania!
Cadette Breathe Journey - January 28th
Six girls earned their Breathe Journey. The was the last piece several needed so that Silver Award work could begin. By completing this journey, one girl earned her Cadette Summit pin!
Night At The Museum - January 27th
Iris and her mom went to the Night at the Museum event at the Savannah History Museum. Iris is standing in front of the bench from the Forrest Gump movie. The guy on the right is one of the actors who "came to life" to tell the kids about his connection to Savannah and to give them a clue to help solve the mystery. His Forrest impersonation was actually pretty good. The event was super cute and well organized!
Silver Training - January 27th
Six girls received their training today so that they may soon begin work on earning their Silver Award, the 2nd highest award a Girl Scout may earn and the highest award at the Cadette level.
Brownie Craft Day - January 27th
As the Cadettes were receiving their training for the Silver Award, the Brownies enjoyed a time for arts and crafts! We painted, beaded, colored and drew!
First Aid / CPR / AED Training - January 13th
Today those that were not trained in November, received their certifications today.
