SCAD STORY - SAVANNAH, GA - JUNE 15TH

Mrs. Angela and Mary met Mrs. Angie and the girls from Troop 98 and Troop 22 for the Savannah College of Art and Design's SCAD Story Tour. A good time was had by all and it was nice meeting new friends from VA!

HIGH AWARDS CEREMONY - SAVANNAH, GA - MAY 7TH

SHADE FOR KIDS

Aubree and Olivia received their Bronze Award at the May 7th Awards Ceremony in Savannah, GA. Their project, "Shade for Kids" provided shade trees for three local schools. Pictured here are the girls with their Bronze awards as well as pictures of them with each of the principals of the schools who accepted their offer of a shade tree.

LEADER APPRECIATION DAY 4/22

Mrs. Brandy and Mrs. Maxine thought we were playing a game loosely based on Pictionary. Each lady was a Team Leader. Their team had to give two words that rhymed that matched the picture of something that could be seen at Mrs. Angela's house.

Team Brandy was up first and they quickly guessed FAT CAT.

Not to be outdone, Team Maxine was just as quick to guess FUNNY BUNNY!

Since there was a tie, it was up to the team leaders to break the tie. Who would guess the final picture first? Same rules applied...two words that rhymed and something that could be seen at Mrs. Angela's house.

The looks on their faces were PRICELESS as they struggled to guess it. Finally, the girls and other moms in the room came to their aid and helped them guess, "YOU TWO!"

At this point, we confessed that this was all a set-up! We let them know that we used part of our badge work to find out what they wanted from the GS Shop! Then as a thank you for all their hard work during cookie season (and more!), these ladies were presented with their THANK YOU gifts. To say they were surprised is an understatement. They were definitely appreciative.
