In some instances, it may be necessary to switch the license associated to a device. Usually, this will only be required when swapping out a device.
In order to change the associated license key, access the device's GUI, and navigate to the dashboard.
On the dashboard's Information section, the status of the License is reflected .
Clicking on the License line entry will open the License configuration page.
Click on the License line to access License Configuration options
Select the Replace License Key option
The current license key will be confirmed, and the new license key requested.
Note: The replacement license can not be associated with any other devices when it is added to this device.
If the license has previously been associated with another device, you need to make sure that association has been broken on the 3CX Customer Portal.
