Processing Outbound Calls to +27 Destinations

When using the 3CX mobile or desktop applications, a user should be able to initiate a call by clicking on a phone number on a website, or selecting a contact from a CRM system.

As such, it is necessary that the system be able to process calls in E164 format.

The 3CX GUI allows for configuring rules for E164 processing independent of the outbound routes.

To configure E164 processing, select Settings from the side bar menu, and then select E164 Processing from the available buttons.

This will open a page pertaining to your E164 processing, including regional dialing prefixes, and international dialing code.

The correct region should already be selected.

If South Africa is configured as the country, you need only add a 0 as the prefix.

This will result in calls to numbers starting with +27, will have the country prefix stripped, and replaced by a 0 digit.
