Write this list into your copy and practise them every day like we do in school.
Say one sentence each day to your grown up using one or two of the spellings (they do not have to be written down).
We're seeing lot of great reading being uploaded on Seesaw! Well done! Keep it up.

Have a listen to this book being read. Can you follow along with it?
Try out this game of spelling words this week girls. Choose the sound you want to have in the word, listen to the word that is picked and try to spell it using the letters given.
This week we will continue our work on fractions, well done for all the super work you've completed so far, we have loved seeing all you've uploaded.
Remember what a fraction is.... A fraction is when you divide something up, we have worked a lot on halves, so we are going to look a little more at quarters( to find a quarter half it then half again)
Always use something concrete to help with your maths, you could use what ever you have around the house, like dried pasta, sweets, buttons. Share them out and make sure all 4 people get the same amount.
Fractions for Kids This video explains about dividing in halves and quarters
This week I want you to pick your own song. Use the moves from the last 3 weeks to try and keep dancing for the duration of the song.
If you like you can upload your dance to your Seesaw journal so I can see it!
This week we are going to work with our scissors and some paper, if you don't have any coloured paper you could colour a piece what ever you like. You could draw a large heart and fill it up with pieces of paper, using different colours and different sizes you have cut up.
I will attach a video of a lovely snail, with a heart for his shell which might be nice to make for someone special this Valentines!
For this exercise you will need a blank sheet of paper and a pencil.
A grown-up will call out the instructions twice for you to follow and give you time ater each instruction to complete it.
Instructions:
Write your first name and age at the top of the page, in the middle.
If you have black hair, draw a cross through your name. Otherwise, put a tick after your age.
If you are wearing green, write the letter 'G' under your name. Otherwise wirte the letter 'K'.
Draw a small picture of your face (about the size of a 50c coin)in the middle of the page.
Below that draw a slightly bigger circle connected to the face.
Put a line of 4 dots down the middle of the second circle to look like buttons.
Draw 2 single lines from the bottom of the circle to look like legs. Put a shoe on each of the legs.
For arms, put 2 more sticks out of each side of the circle. Put 3 lines for fingers on the end of each.
Draw a ball in the person's left hand. The ball should be a circle with 2 stripes on it.
Your person should appear to be standing on a box with the letters JB on the front of it.
This week I want you to play a matching game.
If you have a deck of cards at home pick out 8 cards but make sure there are 4 pairs (If you don't have a deck of cards you can write 4 numbers on pieces of paper twice...8 pieces altogether).
Place the cards/pieces of paper on the table upsidedown.
Take turns to up turn 2 cards. If they match you keep them. If they don't match they get put back on the table upsidedown.
The person with most pairs at the end wins.
In this game you MUST REMEMBER where your opponent put their cards back incase you need to make a pair.
You can make this harder by adding more pairs and increasing the amount of cards.
HAVE FUN!
