La Salle University - OzamizのFacebookよりTakeru Ishii, a renowned contemporary dancer and choreographer, blends indigenous Japanese movements with classical dance traditions. As the great-grandson of modern dance pioneer Bac Ishii, he carries on his family's legacy by incorporating Japanese folk arts, myths, and regional beliefs into his work.In collaboration with Takeru Ishii and multidisciplinary artists from two prominent universities in the Southern Philippines. This collaboration will explore the deep link between body movement and cultural expression, drawing inspiration from the calligraphy of Japanese and the Philippines' Sinaunang Baybayin to create new movement forms.We are delighted to invite you to witness the extraordinary talent of Takeru Ishii. 舞台芸術から見るフィリピン

○フィリピンにおける舞台芸術

日本の書道をテーマに創作された舞踊作品「Speak, Body: Fly! 」のコンセプト、演出など、作品完成から発表に至るまでの経緯を追いながら、言語に頼らずに表現する"舞踊"という表現の力、フィリピンと日本の共通点、相違点、表現活動の根源を考察する。

○芸術家視点で見るフィリピンのカルチャー・アート

フィリピンでの創作に向けたリサーチのためにマニラ市街地に滞在した経験を基に、芸術家視点で受けたインスピレーション、歴史、フィリピンの路上からみたカルチャーを共有する。

現代舞踊の父・石井漠のひ孫として生まれ、幼少より舞踊を始める。"祈祷行為"を自身の表現の延長線上にあるものと捉え、日本独特の土着的な動きや古典舞踊を基盤とした現代舞踊を創作し。国内外で高い評価を受ける。近年では舞踊作品の他、フラメンコやオペラ、映像作品、音楽作品やファッションショーの演出や振付などジャンルを超え活動の場を広げている。東京新聞全国舞踊コンクール、日本照明家協会特別賞など、受賞多数。
