Gender ideology refers to attitudes regarding the appropriate roles, rights and responsibilities of men and women in society. In today’s permissive and sexually oriented culture, gender ideology has been co-opted by liberals and homosexualists and has given rise to the advance of LGBT. It is no longer just men (male) and women (female) but there are many other genders. The basic hypothesis is that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sex, that a person might be a man trapped in a woman’s body or vice versa.
Gender ideology, with its denial of any differences between men and women, has resulted in some pretty insane and ridiculous moves, such as: Use of Pronouns, Transgenderism, Same Sex marriage, etc.*From FEMALES ARE FABULOUS - The Threequel (Where Have All The Women Gone?) by Qoheleth II
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that homosexual acts are considered to be morally disordered, as they are contrary to the natural law and the purpose of human sexuality. However, it also emphasizes the importance of treating individuals with same-sex attraction with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. With all of these, what really is the truth about homosexuality?
a. Homosexual Acts are grave sin. 2357 of the Catechism states, "Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that 'homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.' They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved."
b. People with Homosexual tendencies are called to a life of Chastity and Holiness. The Catechism further emphasizes in paragraph 2358 that individuals with same-sex attraction "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided." It also acknowledges the challenges faced by individuals with same-sex attraction and encourages them to live a chaste life, in accordance with the teachings of the Church.
c. The Church Does not approve same sex unions. The Catholic Church teaches that marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman. Same-sex marriage is not recognized or supported by the Church. The Church teaches that legal recognition of homosexual unions or placing them on the same level as marriage would not only approve of deviant behavior but also obscure basic values that are part of the common inheritance of humanity
The Church's teaching on homosexuality is about evaluating homosexual acts morally, not the orientation itself. It teaches that everyone, no matter their sexual orientation, should live a holy and chaste life. Everyone should also always be directed to the truth and be led to Christ through repentance and conversion.
