In this class, I learned a lot of cultural research methods and experimented with all of them. This course focuses on how and where can we begin to study culture, and through what kinds of research questions? In this course, we examined different cultural research methodologies and practice different ways of questioning and researching culture. Throughout the course we moved between different models and examples, carrying out mini-activities and assignments to help us inhabit different logics.

This course helped me to think through the different methods that might be best suited to my projects, and I left this course with a clearer sense for different ways of framing cultural questions and doing cultural research.

I made a final collection as the final project in this class, and it contains all the pieces that I studied in the course. Each abstract used a different method, and I mostly studies text-based method, but also trued Performance method, Ethnography, Interview these three methods.
