As you would probably expect, all our leaders need to be First Aid trained. If you are not First Aid trained please could you book onto a First Aid course as soon as possible. First Aid training in Scouting is called First Response or Module 10.

How to Book onto Blended Training
To book on a training course you will need your Scout Membership Number. To find your Scout Membership Number please see these FAQs.
The online blended model comprises an e-learning module, a 2.5 hour virtual session and a 15 minutes F2F validation session.
Step 1: Complete Module 10A First Response Blended Model part 1 using this link:

Step 2: Register for Module 10A First Response Blended Model part 2 which is a Zoom e-learning event.
You can't register for this until Module 1 is completed and notified to County: info@hertfordshirescouts.org.uk .
Step 3: Once you have completed step 2, email Russ Brooks (dc@harpendenscouts.org.uk) who will arrange for a locally run practical validation session.

To check that every adult attending has a valid DBS certificate, please check in the Leaders OSM database in Members > NAN Form Information.
Section Leaders have access to the Leaders OSM database, please ask your Section Leader.
For Section Leaders - if this information is not displayed in the Leaders OSM please check Compass, you should be able to see the details for the leaders in your section.
If you cannot see the person in Compass for any reason, ask the volunteer to login to Compass to look at their own details to find their DBS expiry for you.
