Bring ideas to life with precision and creativity. Design and Drafting is a two-year program that gives students hands-on experience in engineering, drafting, and design. In Design and Drafting I, students use Fusion software to explore 3D modeling and part design, as well as architectural software to create residential house plans. They also develop skills in sketching, drafting, 3D printing, modeling, and machining.
In Design and Drafting II, students focus on a specialized area, either Architectural or Mechanical, and complete a major project, such as designing buildings for the community or manufacturing real machine parts and components. This program prepares students for careers in engineering, architecture, and design by combining technical skills with creative problem-solving.
